i recently heard about chebeague island in the casco bay, near portland, maine. apparently the inn on the island has been purchased by new owners and it's supposed to be fabulous. i really hope to visit this summer at some point. the views from the porch off the inn are stunning and makes incredibly impatient for summer to arrive. check out their website here.
