picked up two books this weekend. one on recommendation of my lovely friend L, and the other that i have read a few articles on already. the first is "eating animals" by jonathan saffran foer. only 30 pages in, but i'm already enthralled. the second is "food rules" by michael pollan. it's a tiny little book, but it has some great guidelines for eating/cooking/grocery shopping aaaaaaaaaand it's small enough to fit in my purse.
