after i recovered from the headless pigeon incident..it turned into a really great weekend! lots of stuff going on. on friday night, i tried out this FANTASTIC restaurant in hell's kitchen called, well, hell's kitchen. it was sort of a nouveau mexican style of food and unlike anything i've really ever tried. can i just say it was fantastic? it's a nice place and not cheap, but it's not incredibly expensive either. the food was really out of this world. we had a delicious tuna ceviche to start and then i had a tiger shrimp dish with pesto, plaintains, and an unbelievable vegetable slaw with zucchini and carrrots. t had a chilean sea bass on top of a sweet potato puree and it was also sooooo yummmy. it's on ninth ave between 46th and 47th. you should really go. like now. also, i borrowed the pics from nymag and i have to say, they really don't do it justice. at night it is dimly light and cozy with lots of happy, chattering people.
