i just stumbled upon gregory thielker's work on
my modern metropolis. on first look, they seem like some pretty but unmonumental photographs of views from cars on rainy days. if you inspect closer, you'll see that these are actually paintings. this guy is awesome! and he also went to williams which makes me like him more and many of his paintings are of roads in new england. so cool! check out his website for even more paintings!
